Federal financial aid is limited for Paralegal Studies because SFSU’s College of Professional & Global Education does not receive state funding. To be eligible, you must have completed at least 60 semester units (or 90 quarter units) before being admitted to the program. Aid is available only in the fall and spring semesters. Start your application early to allow time for processing.
For more information, go to our financial aid section and the SFSU Office of Student Financial Aid site.

If you are not eligible for federal aid or admitted conditionally, you may be able to use the Alternative Loan Program to finance your studies.

If you are a veteran, you may qualify for educational benefits to help cover the cost of the Paralegal Studies Certificate. Learn more through SFSU Veteran Services.
This program gives you an option to split the cost for one semester into smaller payments.
